Abstract

The formation of received pulse when the antisymmetric Lamb waves are excited by point form transducer on one side of the pipe, acting as a circular resonator, and received on the exactly the opposite side by similar transducer is researched. The waves were excited by bursts. The received signal is a superposition of the waves that have spun the resonator many times. Its envelope is an oscillating function and the oscillations depend on the waves frequency. A method of the simulation of the received pulse formation is given there, and also the results of the experiments and simulation. Ill. 5, ref. 8.
