The methods for decreasing of influence of acoustical signal's reflections when searching the leakage of pipelines

Abstract

An acoustical method for searching the nonhermeticies of gas pipelines is described. The reasons for erroneous determination of coordinates of the leakage are revealed. Mathematical model of the negative influence of reflected acoustical signals propagating in the gas pipelines is investigated. Two methods for increasing of an accuracy of determination the coordinates of leakage in the gas pipeline are proposed.
