Investigations of influence of gaseous media parameters to acoustoelectric parameters of the spark discharge

Abstract

The influence of physical properties of the controlled gaseous environment upon acousto-electric parameters of spark discharge acoustic pulses emitter was theoretically evaluated. In order to evaluate dependence of acousto-electric parameters of the emitter upon the properties of the tested gas, the following thermodynamic parameters were chosen: gas temperature T and pressure p. The dependencies of the radiated acoustic energy and spectral pressure upon the above parameters are described. It was noted that with temperature variations within wide limits (300-5000oK) acousto-electric efficiency coefficient changes slightly (0,2-0,7 %)
