Abstract

The investigation was focused on the influence of two pairs of nitrates - NaNO3 and Ca(NO)2, NaNO3 and NH4NO3 - on the water structure, having dissolved them together and separately at the temperatures 25 and 30oC, when concentration of solutions was 0.5 m (0.5 moles of salt for 1 kg of water; 100 g of H2O was used in the preparation of the solution). Change of water structure was evaluated from the change of uncompressible volume in the solution, having dissolved both nitrates together and separately. Adiabatic compressibilities of solutions were calculated having measured speed of ultrasound in the solution and density of the solution. Speed of ultrasound was measured by ultrasound interferometer (10 MHz frequency). Pyknometer was used to measure density of the solution. The calculations show, that nitrates either dissolved separately or together destroy water structure almost the same. This may take to the conclusion that use of complex fertilizers and fertilizers spread separately have the same efect on the change of water structure.
