Improvement of the efficiency of a bimorph rectangular piezoelectric transducer

Abstract

The construction of a bimorph rectangular piezoelectric transducer is described. The vibrations of opposite phase are used profitly. For radiation of acoustic waves not complete surface of the transducer is used. This allows for maximum transformation of electric energy into acoustic one and vice versa.
