Abstract

The data of the eye precise ultrasonic biometrics investigation of 9-year-old - 15-year-old children (n=76) with emmetropic ocular refraction and their changes during accommodation are presented in the article. The eye axis length, horizontal diameter and vitreous body length of the 1st group children (the age is 9-10 years) is statistically reliably smaller than the same measurements among the 2nd group children (the age is 13-15 years). During accommodation (when transferring the look from the distance of 5 m to 33 cm) statistically reliably decreases the anterior chamber depth and the length of vitreous body among the children of the 1st and the 2nd group, the lens crystalline has significantly thickened. No significant changes of anterior-posterior eyes axis length during accommodation were found.
