Abstract

The efficient of the exitation of the longitudinal surface acoustic waves (LSAW; creeping waves) are discussion. By using LSAW for NDT and measerement, it is necessary eliminate the influence of the outside longitudinal bulk waves. It was schow that the best LSAW probe is the variable angle-beam transducer. Experimental was determine that the ratio of 1.8 MHz Rayleigh and LSAW waves amplitudes in aluminum 6063-T6 is 6,8. Laser generated ultrasonic waves have been applied to exiatation the LSAW extreme shot pulses.
