Investigation of ultrasonic probe for medical purposes

Abstract

The paper presents investigation of ultrasonic medical probe. Ultrasonic energy has been considered for tissue ablation and fragmentation of plaque and thrombosis for removal of intravascular occlusions. Surgical device utilizing ultrasonic probe for generation and transmission of ultrasonic energy has been proposed. Theoretical background and operation conditions of the device were described.
