Analysis of steady state operating conditions of the wave vibrodrive

Abstract

The paper deals with dynamics of a wave vibrodrive given as a simplified model of a non-linear oscillatig system. The equation of an output link motion has been set up for the continuous vibrodrive operation. The differential equation nas been solved by means of the fitting method. The operation of the vibrodrive is found to be four motion types: two contact motions without slippage and two contact motions with slippage. The solutions have been obtained for each type of motion. A set of transcendental equations is derived for determining the parameters of steady state operating conditions of the vibrodrive.
